"I myself, my beautiful lady and our dog montyfound the reatoration caffe totally random, and we are very happy that have done. we enjoyed a beautiful cream tee for two. the apricots were of the best I cost. to know that all profits go to restore the building make it all the more desirable place to go and enjoy beautiful eating, served in a friendly and professional way. I'll be back soon for one. Finally, I would like to praise all those people who are involved in this restoration event. It is the community spirit and all round nourishing naturen that is our world in short supply of today, and know that people are willing to come together on this way, fulfills one with warmth."

"Went for lunch today, and the fact that the place didn't have an empty table after we arrived, said a lot. The food was excellent, as was the service. Decent sized portions as well, no space for dessert. We will be back again."

"Having visited Halls fish and chips, and Ice cream parlor for several years. I've always experienced nothing but nice, helpful, friendly staff and good quality food and drinks. (The hot chocolate is wonderful! The staff really make you feel welcome and ask how your days been. The prices are affordable and I've never been disappointed. (They are much cheaper than anywhere else I know The Shops are in a nice location, and are closer than visiting skegness. I much prefer Matlock Bath and it's seaside feel any day of the week. And I will continue to do so for many more years to come. I highly recommend Halls of Matlock to everyone."

"I work all over the Peak District and have tried all the chippys. This one, for me is easily the best. The warm staff treat you like they actually value your custom, the food is consistently excellent and the prices are good. My fav meal from this chippy is battered haloumi, chips and curry sauce. Cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Full marks to the owners for everything they do."
