"My sister and I stay in Quimper every summer and we look forward to our annual pilgrimage to Douarnenez and in particular La Trinquette. The 3 course set menu is incredible value and always very fresh and tast, the lady was writing up the options for the day when we arrived. The restaurant is always very busy being the best of a handful of little restaurants overlooking the harbour, as a result we arrived early to ensure we could get a table. A good move as the terrace was filled very quickly and diners turned away. During the summer only the terrace is used. Fortunately it is covered well, should it be necessary, against the elements. Service is friendly and efficient. We started with fruit de la mere (catch of the day - crab, prawns, oysters) and, after a tough choice, we followed with grilled sardines. We were then too full for dessert but by this time the heavens had opened and we did not wish to move on. We were specifically made welcome to linger until the worst had passed."

"Friendly welcome. good fish and chips although the portions of fish would have mrit of being more copied considering the price (14.90) Note that the price indicates the extriggeration (13.90 is different from that of the map.like the restaurant just re-opened after the winter, we will say that they did not have the time to update. quickly correct please."
