"We had a lecture at this place combined with a three-course dinner. First of all the organisation was quite bad. We had to choose what we wanted before our lecture started, which seemed to be a good idea so that we wouldn't waste any time...waiting for it afterwards. But instead of a smooth run we had to wait ages for everything. Secondly the staff was really rude. And last but not least the food was just average and pretended to be something fancy when it wasn't even mediocre. Maybe a little less fancy and bit more down-to-earth food would suit them better. I was quite lucky with my choices compared to my colleagues. I had a mixed salad (was okay, but I had the impression that every portion differt from small to large), risotto (okay but I can do it like that at home with a ready mix from ALDI) and some chocolate dessert (as well okay but... well you know nothing special). My colleagues had Matjes and baked camembert. Matjes wasn't that good and the cheese was simply so much for a starter that half of it had to be turned away. And the cheese had no sauce or something like that so that it was quite dry to eat. Again the last finishing touch was missing. My colleagues had fish as main dish with two( potatoes as a side dish. The potatoes were so bland that they had to dip them in the dip from the appetizers. Again no sauce or anything that would make it into a special dish. As dessert they chose a melon dish which just tasted strange. Maybe if you are a regular guest the food is more thought through but like this I wouldn't come back. Had I had the dishes from my colleagues I would have rated it 2 stars, but as I got lucky with my choices it's 3 stars."
