"Great service. Very cozy place. Great menu. Good size portions for breakfast. The all meat omelet was excellent. Hashbrowns were cooked well. Little crisp outside soft inside. Would come back to try some of the other items. So few days later came back and got here just in time. This place got crazy busy. We had a few beers, they even had boneyard so I was pleased. Gizzard, the breading was great and they were not greasy. But the nacho. OMG so we got the chicken and we ordered the large. This was unlike any nacho you have ever seen. Should be on Man vs Food. Four of us and had no idea the enormity. Cooked to perfection and it was hefty. Held off on the green peppers and we dug in. There was well over half and the only thing large enough to bring it home in was the large pizza box. 1/2 order would feed 4 no problem. You have to try it."

"Food was great. Beer was cold. Service was excellent. Had the chicken walnut salad, husband had the poblano burger. Fries were hand cut fresh. Nachos to start were fantastic. Looking forward to going back and trying the fish and chips. It was hard to pick with so many great sounding menu items. Keep it up!"

"Great service, the bartender was extremely nice and helpful. Feels very cozy on the inside and has a huge patio area outside. Unfortunately it was raining so didn't venture out from under the covered patio but they have heaters mounted to make it more enjoyable. Would love to come back in the warmer months for the outside concerts."

"Poutine is pretty much a staple on a lot of menus these days ... but Lainy's does RINGTINE, which takes poutine to the next level. Same as poutine except with onion rings in lieu of french fries -- and really tasty!Used to think their fish & chips was the best in the area ... but they're now second place to the Cookhouse at Haliburton Forest. Still really good though! Also love the fact that milkshakes are all made with local Kawartha Dairy ice cream (legendary in the area).The Snack Shack is a yummy little stop, much appreciated by locals and cottagers alike."
