"Our group has come to the Royal on the water for many years, the last time in March. As we all know, a lot has happened in the hospitality industry since March. At the Royal, regular employees seem to have been replaced by very young, almost work experience people. In this way the administration was forced due to the Covid pandemic, but it certainly leads to an unusual lunch. The work that paid for what was laborious and confusing at the end of the meal. Not as pleasant an experience as in the past. Food quality also slipped a bit."

With limited time, a family staycation with just 25 minutes travel required, suited us down to the ground. "A non-describing bottle shop with a fish and chip shop I think most people in the opposite are not to know that it exists the fish and the chips for $10 is a great worth serving with a decent. the fish and the chips are oily and the chips are perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside of the fish is easily broken and perfectly cooked in the inner. pretty tasty. I think the only thing that is missing is to season some more on the chips, some on the fish before cooking and a little extra on the golden broken fish after cooking. friendly service."

"My go to place for Korean BBQ! Great quality meats, and all other dishes are very traditional. Fast service and good selection of drinks. Added bonus of brand new exhausts at each individual grill means you don't come out smelling like smoke either and can go out afterwards. Good for big groups too as they have separate rooms down the back that you can book."
