"My wife and I are regular visitors to Etaples and Le Touquet and have enjoyed eating at Planet Ocean many times. On this occasion however we experienced a significant change. Much reduced menu listed on our placemat with no a la carte nor full entree menu. Instead there was a buffet entree which was very limited with smoked salmon being the only worthy option available. I ordered fish and chips from the placemat and my wife the fish/sea food taglatelle. My main was okay but my wife's had very little fish and almost no seafood but lots of pasta! She was most disappointed and left the majority of the pasta. When we complained the waited simply apologised with no further action taken. We could speculate why the restaurant made this structural change (less chefs required hence saving on wage bill) but needless to say this was a serious retrograde step in our view. We shall not be returning in the future. Shame."

I ordered fish and chips from the table set and my wife the fish/sea food tag. My main thing was okay, but my wife had very little fish and almost no seafood, but many pasta! She was most disappointed and left the majority of the pasta. When we complained about waiting, we simply apologized without further measures. We could speculate why the restaurant has made this structural change (less chefs needed to save wage costs), but it was not necessary to say that this was a serious step back in our view. We will not return in the future. Too bad."
