"We ate here on Christmas Eve and the pub was extremely busy. Nevertheless, the employees were amazing and we didn't wait too long for our food, which was really nice."

"We didn't have great experience in Bills last year but we thought we give another go and see if things have changed sadly not. terribly slow , unprofessional service , dirty tables remaining of the food on the floor clearly visible but with no staff interested to clean it up. The food is so beyond average that I can't believe its being serve in the restaurant. Pancakes were uneatable. We have wasted a £40 on the breakfast with totally unjustified 12.5% service charge. Avoid Bills's and go to Number 4 next door instead with great service and delicious homemade food. I hope management form the Bills will sort out poor quality service soon rather embarrassing."

"We’ve had some great meals recently here but our most recent experience has put us off coming back. Only ordered one course on a weekday lunch at midday for three people but had to wait 90 minutes for our order to arrive. By this time we were starving! When it did arrive there were items missing. No apology for wait. When we paid and were asked how everything was we have honest feedback but were only told it was due to a new chef which doesn’t bode well. Unfortunately we had to rush the meal as we never expected to have to wait that long and didn’t have time for desserts. Very disappointing after many great quick meals here and sad to say we probably won’t return"

"I really enjoyed my dinner here while on a business trip to Horsham. I had the grilled Courgette salad and crispy beef with chili sauce as my dinner, and it was a lot. Beautiful old building, staff was very friendly and friendly. The apple pears cider was excellent. Would definitely recommend eating here."

"Went for Sunday lunch with a friend. A lovely old style pub serving excellent food. Suggest booking in advance. Place, food, service are all 5*. Portion size was very generous. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely going again."
