"Absolutely loved it! I got the pineapple key lime sangria to drink. Hands down, the best sangria I've ever had. To eat I had the fish and chips with key lime tartar sauce, and my boyfriend got the Le Bleu crepe. We both couldn't have been happier with our choices. We got a key lime pie slice to share. It was good, but could've done without the sauce on top and whipped cream. But that's my preference for key lime pie. My boyfriend enjoyed it all. Highly recommended. Staff was very friendly as well and it was nice and breezy inside with the fans and open window on a hot and humid day."

"We stopped for lunch and had fried snaps and fries. both were delicious! ice cold drinks, shaded, escaping outdoors with fans were perfect after long hot bike tour. we met the owner rob who was very human and even took our order. Great little space and we are back for taco Tuesday!"

"Not impressed with this place. When we walked in there was no one to greet us. Finally got ahold of someone who said seat yourselves. We went to sit on the patio and after being ignored for a very long time, had to go inside to let the waitress know we were there. We would have left but it was pouring down rain. Paid extra for bacon in my Bloody Mary, which came out cold out of the fridge, you could see frozen fat on it, it was also soggy. Flat bread appetizer was actually good. But providing how awful the service was, we asked for a check to go eat someplace else. Drinks were expensive. I don't recommend."

"This is called the Boat House by Turtle Kraals, stopped in for dessert. Sticky toffee pudding alamode. This was an amazing dessert. Ice Cream is homemade. Gotta try it !"

"Great food, bar and service. Very friendly we decided to stop in for key lime pie and chocolate cake but ended up eating lunch. Fish and chips were perfect. Portions were huge so I am glad we split a dinner. Prices were reasonable and I would recommend Jack Flat to anyone visiting Key West."

"We had planned an evening with very good friends. The Grand Cafe was recommended and the bonus was on the Key West Women's Group menu. To keep things short, our waiter Carl was obviously not excited to work on this evening. I even tried to break the ice with him by asking him his name and trying to ask a little about how he was in Key West. He had no other conversation than taking our order. Our party ordered an 8 ounce fillet (definitely not 8 ounces, but it was tasty), the entire roasted snapper (tasty), the branzino (there was a kind of green goozey liquid under the fish that was less than to cheat, but the upper half of the fish was light and tasteful), the fourth person ordered the scallops. For $40, three scallops on rice seemed too expensive. There was also confusion on the women's card. Half price Happy Hour and the card could not be used together, so we beat two bills, one for Happy Hour and one for dinner, so we could both use. Carl felt that this required a little, he said he would see what he could do and would have to discuss with his manager. He allowed the discount for both, but he did this with a demon of extreme annoyance. Customer service is important to EXTREMELY. We felt we were a burden for Carl. As a restaurant owner / manager of 4 stand alone, unique concept restaurants in a high tourist area in the Middle West, I was embarrassed for Grand Cafe. We didn't share it with the administration this night. Instead we will probably choose not to return to the Grand Cafe in the future (we live here 1/2 year)."

"I’ll tell you why this place is good: (1) Lots of seating. Which meant no wait on a busy Saturday afternoon. (2) Fast service. Had our food literally in minutes of ordering. (3) Friendly, efficient staff. Quick. Now for the food. The conch fritters were crispy. I wish there was more conch inside, but for the price, they were great. The sloppy joe sandwich is famous. It was fine. Here’s what I’m saying: for the price, and the novelty, and the central location, and speed— it was great."
