"Great small chippy, which was looked away in a corner from challaborough, we called after a long walk and had cooked the most delicious fish and chips, fresh with beautiful light scatterer and delicious chips. we sat outside with views over the beach and tee in a pot and china tassen came with eating, great service. owner, and staff, very friendly and good sharpener, who brightens the day would definitely recommend."

"We turned up on a night when the place was fully booked, but nevertheless were offered fish and chips very nicely prepared and fresh. Customer service was absolutely excellent and we look forward to another visit soon. Jazz night regularly, a short distance from the lovely beach at Slapton. Pub is being extended be good as they needed more room"

"Great delicious fish and chips, very friendly service. can be gluten-free and can order up to two in a time when they tell them 30 minutes, that is not a problem. they are very busy but super helpful"

"Stayed a couple of nights here whilst visiting Salcombe. Close enough to Salcombe to drive there in 10 minutes but away from the madness and crowds of Salcombe. Room was ideal for one person, clean and with a big newly renovated bathroom, good size TV and kettle. Quiet at night Very nice host who provided a great breakfast. Nice pub to spend time in at the evenings To be recommended Rooms: 4"
