"My friend and I wanted to eat here the other evening and were really looking forward to it. We called ahead to see if they were open 'yes, until late'. Great!! When I arrived in middle of a snow storm there was a woman outside clearing snow. I needed to park but she screamed AT me to go away, the exit is 'over there'. I called back that I want to park, I'm meeting a friend here for dinner. She shouts "we're closed" I said I just called half hour ago, and was told "open until late". She goes on madly about the snow plow coming and they are closed and on and on. I parked in the parking lot, locked my doors, and called the restaurant. Yes, they are open, please come. I said "that's interesting, I'm sitting in the parking lot and just got told by a woman out there that you are closed" and would you believe it, the person inside says "well, I guess we're closed then. She's the owner, she would know. So I guess we're closed, I don't know" I got brave, and went to the door and a man came out wondering what I wanted. I said "I'm meeting a friend here for dinner, and I'm just checking to see if she's arrived yet." He says we're closed there's nobody in there. I asked who is in charge here, one says you're open another says you're closed. He glared at me and said "closed" and walked off. Soon my friend drives in, parks, and gets yelled at by the woman clearing snow. I called my friend over to my car, and told her the story, meanwhile the woman is yelling at both of us by now. It was very off-putting, and frightening. We just left and went to http://www.eastafricancafe.ca/ , and had a lovely meal. I never will even entertain the idea of going to A M Africa again. Sad."

"We live in the Forest Heights area of Kitchener and often stop at the Fish Hut for take out fish and chips. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is tasty. We were having adults and children for dinner on...Good Friday and decided to pre-order fish and chips to make the meal planning easy. Since Good Friday is their busiest day of the year, they have a few special policies for Good Friday: no eat in service...only take out serving only cod, haddock and halibut (no whitefish or shrimp) gravy and cole slaw are available but not onion rings you can pre-order ...we did and our order of family packs of fish and chips large gravy was ready exactly at as noted on our receipt"
