"My brother told me she was going from mandura to get this fish. I think that's what it says. the whole family razed around the fresh and the correct amount of teig and non-oily. Note when they call from a private number to order that they do not respond and take them only cash. enjoy!"

"Outside bar and lounge with fun food great service . The nachos fully loaded on a bread board is great for sharing with friends. The fish and chips are great too.There are several lounge areas plus tabled dining available.Full bar available."

"Ok, so fish and chips places are usually greasy food right? Well, not all of them. This one however, possibly the greases fish and chips we have ever been to. Hey, we even tried again, thought maybe the first time was not a normal day or whatever. Nope, yuk. Staff are great, place is clean but the food has to be the greasiest crap we have ever encountered. The fries, tasted like fish. Come on folks, clean the fried oil once in awhile or get on board with that filtering service. This could be such a great spot. Lots of easy access parking, decent seating, great staff but.... all of that means nothing if the food is garbage. Get this, too greasy to eat second piece of fish so took it home for the dog. He sniffed it then walked away, he wouldn't eat it. That says a lot dont you think? Unlikely we will ever go beck. There are so many fish and chip places that are not greasy, why would we go back?"

"Paid a visit to the Langford Tavern (Lazy Bull Bar & Bistro) a few nights back for dinner with mates. The Tavern is a real paradox. It is in a working class suburb and is pretty ordinary in terms of furnishings and fittings. It is certainly not the ‘Ritz’ but is what suits the patrons and the location. The tavern was not particularly busy but a steady stream of patrons came through as the night progressed. The meals took a long time to come out. However, when it did come we found the wait was well worth it. Two (2) of us received our fish and chips and chicken parmigiana first. The other two (2) sat and watched while we gave up waiting for them to get theirs and started eating ours while they were still hot. Their chicken wings, when they came, were freshly cooked and were plump and tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Best of all they were not pushy and were content to let us take our time over the meal. All in all, it was a good night and we certainly did not go away hungry"

"We do not get to this restaurant often, but, as they had a three course Valentine's dinner we visited and enjoyed a nice meal. My wife started off with the Honey Roasted Pear Salad and then the Steak main course finishing with a Lemon Tart. I had the Kushi Oyster starter then the Roast Duck and lastly the same dessert. Everything was well presented and service was good too. If anything needs attention it would be the wine list which does not present a great deal of choice. At $45.00 per person not including alcohol or gratuity it was still very good value."

"They are thw best fish chips ever. The batter on the fish is heavenly not slimet like others I've had. At Salty's you can eat everything ir us s. sooooo good. Thank you Salty's on Goldstream for the best fish n chips ever."
