"My crab cake was just okay. It had a sourness to it. Maybe too much lemon mixed in? The risotto wasn't as creamy, as it was sticky. The vegetables were limp and overcooked. I didn't eat them any more than to taste them. The quantity of food was very good. The peanut butter porter was outstanding!! Great little waitress. Very friendly. I liked what the menu offered; American fare, nothing unapproachable. The soups were good. The pimento cheese spread was good and a nice free starter. I'd go back. Although the food wasn't brag worthy, it certainly was good. A decent, friendly, clean, moderately priced restaurant in the Haymarket area. The name threw me off, though. Culinary, to me, meant it would be unique and maybe high end style meals. Underground also, to me, said something unique and maybe even so good I'd want to keep it a secret so the place wouldn't get so crowded and I could always get it. The food was more on a par with Applebees. Still. A decent place downtown."

"We made a reservation at the bar. We arrived and were told that it would not be honored. We were seated in a back “dining” room that appeared to be a room they have for banquets, group events, etc. There were open seats at and around the bar when we arrived and when we left. The ambiance of the back room was lacking. The servers were attentive and working hard. The food was overpriced and mediocre. I can’t remember the last time I had to salt my food in a restaurant. Watch out for the ahi tuna nachos. You get 5 nacho chips for $16! Wine and beer selection were mainstream- not special. All of us diners in this back room looked disappointed, as if we’d been sent to the time out corner. This place is way overrated for the lackluster quality of the food and ambiance. And it is lame that they don’t honor their open table reservations."

"This place is fabulous! Don?t miss it. My husband had the fish and chips which were excellent. The fish was tender, moist and flaky with a delightful breading which wasn?t greasy. Good fries and coleslaw too. I had the Reuben with sautéed green beans as a side. Delicious! The green beans were perfect and fresh not frozen and soggy. Paige was our server and could have been more attentive, helpful and friendly. No pretension at all. Please give it a try you won?t be disappointed!"

"So I reserved for this last Saturday night. It was my wife's birthday and I had a lot of plans for the evening and that was the only place in Lincoln, NH that made reservations. At first we entered the front entrance, but it was blocked because it was a private function in the main part of the restaurant at night. You told us we had to go to the bar and order from the menu there. We come to the bar and say we have reservations, but we landed at the private event. Now we're super confused. A waitress comes up and tells us we can go to the buffet. We didn't want the buffet. We wanted a nice dinner. So we go to the bar, but the bar serves only bar food. We're sitting in the bar room to just be ignored. So we go to the bar to just be ignored. After 10 minutes we must interact and order a hot dog and potato skin (Perfect birthday price). Oh, but wait, they're from hot dogs. So instead I'll order a burger. The burger was amazing, but the potato skins were cold when they came to us. So we sent her back. The next time they came out, they were amazed and tasted like reheated frozen potato skins. Please don't go here. If you have a meaning, you'll only find a place you have to wait for."

"1st time in Lincoln.... So I was only in NE overnight and right by the hotel was this place. Easy choice. Pleased to say it was good, very good. I had the turkey/pesto sandwich... that pesto was the best ever so fresh! It made the whole sandwich. The sweet potato fries were good, crispy outside and soft/fluffy inside. Sadly they offer Pepsi products..... but had to move on from that disappointment. My friend had the swordfish sandwich which she said was good..... but it was overshadowed by the 'applesauce ' she ordered....it was not sauce.. it was cooked cinnamon apples and it was delicious. Ended the evening with the Chocolate Explosion the brownie was actually piping hot, but a little under done.. odd. Didn 't stop us from eating it....... I 'll eat brownie batter from the bowl, so done would have been preferable, but not a deal breaker for me."
