"Wow! The biggest cod filet ever. Pure white flesh. Good tasting, seasoned batter, perhaps on the salty side for my taste. Non fishy taste. Just good toasty flavor. Good tartar sauce in a small plastic bowl so you can put a little on your fork with every bite. This facility might best be categorized as historic and cozy, the kind of place you wouldn 't change, because it wouldn 't be the same. I 'll need back, only I 'll be prepared to remove the batter on parts that appear to be heavily seasoned."

"Expected a standard pub/brewery, but got a very nice sit-down restaurant. This place is much more beautiful than expected. Quint small stands with lamp lighting. The layout is very well made with several levels. A great place for a date night. The food was great too! Came on Friday during fasting and got the salmon and also the fish tacos. The salmon was probably some of the most delicate fish I've ever tried. Seasoned to perfection. And the fish tacos were also well done. Will definitely come back. Try the Bavarian Pretzel as an app. It is gigantic and perfect for two people."

"Z's has been around a long time and we forgot about it. So we decided to celebrate birthdays here the other night. Low key, very nice food and quiet environment where you can actually talk to friends. The calamari was some of the best we've had in the city. Still has great Caesar salad made table side. Everyone loved their food and service was quietly professional"

"The reuben sandwich was mostly fat and not meat. the gin and tonics were made with what tasted like pure water. even after the recovery they were not drinkable. very few people in the restaurant and I know now why. would not recommend this restaurant as I do not return!"
