"Fish was dry chips had been kept too long and were soft and chewy . Order was wrapped first left on counter and then peas put into microwave therefore warm when we started to eat and stone cold by the time we were half way through! ' Do not advise a visit"

"Once I 've payed for my food I 'd like to put my own salt and vinegar on. Was told by staff 'instructions ' by the owner, something to do with health and safety And I said I won 't be coming back because I like to add my own condiments. "Myself and my daughter get a takeaway from here once a week, as a treat. Chips are cooked perfectly, sausage not too greasy and fish is cooked in a lovely batter, crisp and always very hot and the service is great. I wouldn’t go anywhere else."

"Years ago I kept my boat in Tollesbury marina and I thought I'd take a friend to see the place and possibly have a drink in the bar. We found ourselves looking at the menu which seemed very appealing and decided to have lunch; I'm...very glad we did ! The food was excellent and served rapidly despite a large party also eating in the restaurant. The food is largely, but not exclusively, seafood and offers quite a wide range of choice. Our starters and main courses were so good we've already arranged with friends to take them there ! The view over the harbour is attractive and peaceful , there's plenty of parking at the rear of the building and also the opportunity to do a coastal walk before or after the meal. Highly recommended and very good value."

"Excellent service with a smile. Good choice of food prepared in time for our arrival. Sandwiches were of excellent quality saved with a fresh side salad and crisps. Lovely choice of real ale to wash it down. Would ref go back again"

"First, the restaurant was empty, so I should have taken this as the first red flag. but I and my friend came for a nice lunch to support the local businesses. After we had ordered, the owner was incredibly rude and cried for us. laugh, totally unprovoked. he claimed that we took the piss, but he didn't know that the context of our conversation, so his acceptance was very wrong. we left the place without eating and I would certainly not participate in this place again and would not recommend that someone does if they want abuse."

"Beautiful small country pub with a wealthy beer garden. climbing frame for children and there is coop with a kind of fowl that the children liked. Although we did not eat the food melt delicious, we will be back to try it out. it looked good presented. the pub itself has exposed beams and a large open fireplace I guess will be beautiful in the long winter nights. the staff was smart and friendly."
