"4.5 stars. Excellent little local restaurant in Menlo park. My toddler loved the bread here. I orderer the linguini a la vongoli. Well prepared. Al dente pasta. Big and numerous clams. The pasta could be a bit more flavorful. Surprisingly, I prefer little clams for this dish. My husband ordered the spaghetti Bolognese which I liked better. Good wine by the glass list. I preferred the Sauvignon Blanc to the Pinot grigio (too much acidity) for pairing with the linguini a la vongoli. Great service. Fast and friendly staff. Will be back!"

"Great place to get some lunch. Great variety of food. Got to meet and talk to owner, seems like a nice guy. The only thing worth mentioning as a constructive coment is when you get there with a group say of 6 to 8 people they seem to try to memorize your order and keep on getting things wrong. Make Shure you get your receipt to prove what you've actually ordered. Great for a single orders have not had any issues with those."

"Jonathans has the best soul food, especially the next best of home cooking. Our family went and tried her fried chicken, catfish, hot link sandwich, hush puppies and green!!! Everything was delicious and prices are not so bad. We've spent $45 on it and you're getting rid of it."

"I am on a low salt diet and this place is perfect for them! I can ask for my hamburgerfleisch without seasoning and with the fries. their shakes are the best I ever had. my mother loves her truthahnburger who is a great compliment because she is picky! my sisters loved the sweet potatoes. my other sister, who is a vegetarian, really enjoyed her gartenburger and my other sister really loved the mushroomburger. the ambiente is so funny and I love the 50s Diner style! my nephew, the 6 loved all auto decorations and frightened his hot dog, which is a great compliment, as he can also be picky!"
