"My favourite stop for fish chips in NS. Good local craft beer from Annapolis but only in cans now. Extremely fast service fish will be out well before you are done your first beer)! Very reasonable prices too $14.99 for a 2-piece). Have tried a few other items: seafood chowder and a fancy salad. Everything was good. In the summer head for the patio. The inside is nothing fancy and as advertised family restaurant) but the patio is probably the nicest in town."

"A couple of years ago we used to eat at this restaurant every week. Our group thought it fell off a bit....so we left. Today a late lunch led us to two restaurants in the area which are closed on Monday.....the second right alongside the Capital. What the heck....let's check it out. The result, we are very happy we did. My partners steak on a bun and my extremely tasty hamburger platter.....top drawer! Friends have told me in the past few months that this restaurant runs hot and cold on service.....today our server was EXCELLENT.....the coffee FABULOUS and the food as good as it gets anywhere. So bottom line ...is it on our list of restaurants we will circulate in future....an unequivocal YES! The bill was reasonable too."

"They're only doing take-out right now, but that's what I wanted. Great service, decent twenty-five minute wait time, reasonable price of thirty-something, and incredible portion sizes. Ordered the king size cheeseburger, onion rings, fries, and the hamburger poutine. All were well-made, I highly recommend giving King Size a chance!"
