"We had a wonderful time this afternoon out on the front deck. My lobster roll fell apart; but to be honest that made it even better to eat. There was an overabundance of clam strips and fries- not that it's a bad thing-. The slaw was good, however a little too much celery seed for our liking. Hope to be back soon:"

"We were there Saturday evening yes it was busy, yes we had a party of 9 but I have never ever waited 2 hours to get food. Then the food finally came out and none had utensils food order was supposed to have sauces on side..hell after waiting 2 hours to get food you'd think we would have at least had utensils and food served right. It would have been nice to be told food was taking a long time and we would have gladly left prior to ordering. Last time there..."

"I don’t know why we keep trying. This was yet another bad experience at Greene Turtle. We arrived for our reservation only to be told by the two young men at the host stand that they don’t take reservations. I informed them they do on Open Table and they said it should be taken down as they have not done it since the pandemic started which I know is a lie. They just kept telling me they don’t take reservations, but acknowledged they saw my name on the tablet. When I looked I was not the only name. When I finally asked what they were basically telling me, the one guy asked if a high top table would work. We said yes and were sat at one of several open high tops in the dining area. After 10 minutes someone stopped to see if we had been helped we had not. He only did this after a table two away from us stopped him and insisted on him taking their drink order. He did not offer to take our drink order but said he would get someone for us. After another five minutes nobody returned. We took the menus back to the host and informed him he won since they did not wish to wait on us and we left. This is our third bad experience in a little over a year between the Middletown and Newark locations. We will not return and I will make it my mission to make sure anyone I knows never frequent these restaurants. This is disappointing since we really love the food, but the service and care for the customer is so bad."

"Came here for a burger and some drinks on a Saturday. Service was excellent, the burger was good too! I ordered the Johnny’s Bloody Mary but was not as good as I’d hoped. Prices, compared with California, were very reasonable for a hotel. Would come back, would order an alternate drink though."

"This is a fresh seafood market that cooks and serves fish, in a seaport. Alll that to say that the fish they sell and serve you was probably swimming in the ocean just a few hours ago. Kathy had the lobster, of course, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Lobster was served whole, with potatoes and sweet corn on the cob, fresh from the field. Tasty!! I had the fish and chips. Two large pieces of cod that could not have been cooked better; flaky and juicy. So good!"
