"Yesterday we decided to give the New Gulistan a try and placed an order at 5.10 for a set meal for 2..We patiently waited until 6.20 and then my husband called to cancel the delivery only to be told it had already left and was on its way. At 6.50 after it had been cancelled,the delivery guy knocked at the door with the food, which had to be freezing cold after being driven all around for more than half an hour.We live 600 meters away from the restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement, we heard good things and now well never get to try it."

"First time in the Smiddy Inn and it won't be the last. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food and service was top notch. Like I said first time but definitely not the last. Back in tonight and the staff maybe different but the welcome and food is the same. Keep up the good work."

"The food was well cooked, portions ample for a lunch. The variety of options was generally great, however the choices for the 2 vegan members of the party were limited. One party member stated their stake was a bit tough, but otherwise I would have no hesitation in coming back for a meal the next time I was in Tannochside ... especially for the fish and chips, which made me regret my decision on having tge Burger stack which I thoroughly enjoyed.."

"Such a lovely hotel, filled with very friendly and accommodating staff. We received a very warm welcome at reception when we arrived, the girl behind the desk was lovely. Then we went for dinner and the staff in the restaurant were amazing, so helpful and made sure we have the best evening. 10/10 will definitely return to this hotel"
