"Amazing food from buffalo burgers to ostrich steaks, chakalaka to wild boar hot dogs and lots more. They also do premium coffee and awesome hot chocolate served by award winning baristas. Great team running the durban grill and I think they will be in high demand in the future. Highly recommended. If you are looking for great food that is different from fish and chips and beef burger or pizza then this is the place . Prices are very reasonable too."

"Well this place is called No. 1 for a reason in my opinion. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful. We especially liked the fish chips and the crab sandwich. Lovely location overlooking the bay. A very busy place at peak times so there is likely to be a wait unless pre-booked. I would be happy to eat here again and would highly recommend it"

"Its such a shame as we visit sea palling every year. I dont know if it's changed hands or what? The young girl who served us was very difficult and unhelpful when we had questions about the food, her attitude towards customers definitely needs improving as a lady on the opposite table to us was complaining about her too.. When our food arrived, the burgers were flat like pancakes and tasted like rubber. Our large chips that we usually share between us would not have filled up my 8yr old. I understand the price increases with the cost of living, but the quality has definitely gone downhill and so has the service. Time to find a new chip shop.... "The 3rd time we have visited Holt fish bar and we are never disappointed. Staff are friendly. The shop is clean and tidy even with renovations going on.We will be back again in June,all the way from Suffolk."

"These guys have made a huge investment and replaced everything in Alberts Fish Bar. There is now a new addition to the menu, Shawarma. I had the shawarma meat tray which comes with salad and chips with a choice of sauces…amazing flavour. My partner had her favourite, cod and chips, again cooked to order and always so tasty. All food here is cooked to order. They do get busy because their food is very good. Expect to wait whilst the cook your food for you. The wait is worth it as they always produce the best fish and chips. I think the last comment was somewhat harsh when you consider all the other positive comments. This team have a passion to deliver the best , and they definitely do that."
