"This place was awesome! Friendly, fast service. Food was great! We had fish and chips. The fish batter was so crispy, fries were like home fries. They gave us a lot of food! If ever in the area, try them out! I’d love to come back!"

"The fires were burning fiercely in the surrounding area so it gave a weird atmosphere to the area.We stopped for a couple of drinks. The staff and locals were friendly and the views great from the balcony. We didn't have anything to eat but the Halibut Burger which was brought out really looked good."

"By no means a fancy place (a renovated church,) it has a limited menu, both drink and food. However, the servings were plentiful, service was good, especially since there were only two servers working during a busy dinner hour. The food was excellent. If you go away hungry it's your fault since there is plenty on the plate. Would happily return if given a chance."

"It was very cold and we were sort of lost, walking around downtown, when we found this place. It 's your everyday sports bar with the biggest TV I 've ever seen, but one great feature is the glass walled billiards room (the glass kept the sound of the pool games out of the rest of the bar, which was great .... and yet we could still watch the games). Best bar burger we have had in a long time definitely a home made patty with lots of toppings. Local beer on tap, good service .... recommended for a casual outing, for sure!"

"The quality and portions used to be so great, not any more. The last two times I ordered pizzas the dough was raw. The first time I picked up the order myself, when we went to eat it I figured 'just let it go ' thinking they were just training a new cook. But this second time I was quite unhappy so I decided the next day to call the manager and get a refund. I was told I could get a credit (I don 't want a credit I want my money back) then I was told that I waited too long and a different manager had been on shift, the current manager didn 't know where to find the receipt. I said no problem I have one stapled to the box of pizza that you can take back and I also have the payment printout with date and time because I used my card. More stonewalling from the manager as I was told nothing could be done for a couple of days because I didn 't phone and complain right away. No problem, I 'm going to go get my money back, share my experience with anyone who will listen and take my business elsewhere. ?"

"Friends in Victoria suggested this as a good place to have dinner. What an understatement! The Candied Salmon Chowder was one of the best chowders I have ever had and I have ordered such chowders from coast to coast in Canada and all over Europe, Asia and Australia. This was the best. We even timed our return from Tofino to enjoy another bowl! The crowning achievement was the Seafood Hot Pot. It was the best seafood entrée I have ever had anywhere. The service was fast, friendly and we had an opportunity to speak to one of the owners. The only disappointment was the lack of people there for supper. We were assured that there was a substantial lunch crowd which we confirmed on our return four days later."

"Neede a quick meal while on the road. This place did not disappoint. Inexpensive, fast service and tasty Mexican food. Four of us ate from pork quesadilla, chicken burrito, fish taco's and gluten free fish taco. Flavour good, sauces were good and the guacamole had nice bite to it. Would recommend. Didn't try the chicken, heard it was good......next for sure. Only issue was the bathrooms need an overhaul...they smell."
