"Visited Roland's for my first time and was pleasantly surprised ! It's a pub - sports bar but the food (we had the fish and chips and fish tacos) and service was excellent!"

"The setting is cafeteria type with more selections and very good prices for decent food. The Leslie site has a sit in restaurant in the second floor with plenty of sits and large windows. You can get a salmon meal for $9 bucks! Breakfast can be had for a few bucks with coffee. The first floor has a fast food type setting just for quick bites as there is very few chairs and tables. But for 75 cents hot dog it's hard to complain. Of course, shopping for the house and seeing great ideas is really why you are here for."

"We had there best table on the deck and this made for an awesome experience! Had Seafood on Ice and nice nice BC white. Service started great, but over time the server was hard to find, we had to ask someone else about our bill. The seafood was good, but not as fresh as we thought it would be. We only ordered the 2 things and spent over$200 with tip. I'm not sure if we'll be back"

"Food was below Average for this area. Overcooked fish and chips and tiny calamari. $85 for 2 people. Mom enjoyed her pasta but says it's expensive. Expected more. But location is amazing. Xx"

"The Canucks Bar & Grill is one of the limited options once you have passed immigration and Security on the US side of Vancouver airport. I was waiting for my flight back home to San Diego and I knew I would be in the air when it was going to be time for dinner so I thought I'd give this place a try. I sat at the bar hoping that the service would be quicker and better but I was wrong. The bar tender was slow to respond and wasn't very friendly. I ordered a beer and some fish & chips and waited and waited. I'm not sure what time this place closes but the bartender and some other staff were too busy putting all the bottles away in the bar. It almost felt like they were shutting up for the night, but they kept accepting more customers and continued servicing them. Anyway, my Fish and Chips finally arrived and I picked at the fish for a little while because it wasn't very tasty. It was getting close to boarding time for my flight home so I paid my check and got out of there. Next time I think I'll eat before I get to the airport."

"It is my mom’s second Canadian Thanksgiving. Not wanting to cook tons of food for only 2 of us this year, we still want to have a classic thanksgiving dinner. Naturally I took her to White Spot. She was very curious since she’d never been to North American style diner. Besides picking the Roast Turkey Dinner for the occasion, we also notice the new 50/50 Burgers on their menu. Each Burger featured a 1/3 lb patty that is made with 50% premium Canadian beef and 50% double-smoked bacon, which sounds lethally delicious. I know mommy probably needs to eat a bit healthier, but I think for such a occasion, half of a much leaner Roast Turkey dinner kind of compensates half of the bacon-beef hybrid burger!"

"Been here a few times, always better to go on a sunny or dry day because the tables and area where you order are both outdoor. I always order the halibut when I go there, I'm sure the cod is decent too but I'm not convinced one bit that this fish is fresh from the docks (they don't claim it is), in fact almost guaranteed it is flown in from somewhere just like every other restaurant in the fraser valley but maybe it's from the nearby cannery? I once ordered a burger and that was a mistake, tasted like a cheap frozen patty. The fries are good, the tartar sauce is good, it is usually pretty busy here with lots of seagulls looking to snatch your food if you're not paying attention. They give you a weird tray with holes in it, then serve your fish and chips in a paper cone. The usual salts, vinegars, and ketchup. The pop machine had a wasp problem last time I was there so it was a little challenging to get rootbeer without pissing off the wasps. Anyway, in summary this is a good spot to get some afternoon fish and chips but it is a bit crowded and expensive."
