"Oh boy, this place is real expensive. Well, maybe everything in the area is, I'm not sure. I haven't eaten around here before. The server was pleasant, but gosh those prices. The lobster bisque was very basic. The lemongrass muscles had okay broth but they were a bit sandy. There is NO free bread. The drinks are the most basic pre-mixes. Anyhow it was $175 to still be hungry, which is pretty wild. So basically, if you have the money to burn... well why not find a better than mediocre place?"

"We we walking on Marine Drive, saw Montgomery's Cottage Lunch, ordered Fish & chip, and it was good. It was the first Fish & Chips restaurant we stopped at. Seating is very simple and cute. We were surprised at the additional fees, ex tartar sauce $1.75 small container(not included with fish order ???) and very small bowl of coleslaw $4 (felt lucky we were not charged for ketchup). For total experience...3. Food good, total value pricy .We eat out a lot and found many more options to eat Fish & chips that have great taste and great value and better settings."

"Super disappointed. A local in Newport recommended we try this and touted it as the best seafood on the coast. The chowder was horrible. Filled with cheese and dill, which was completely overpowering. Halibut fish and chips were super disappointing. Ordered half grilled, half battered. Fish was completely over cooked. Didn't even try the slaw, which was served in a small plastic cup like a condiment. Wine was served in a small juice glass and tasted like Bota Box that had been on the shelf far too long. Way overpriced and highly disappointed."

"I ordered grilled zucchini Parmesan at 4:15 pm. After waiting one hour for my dinner to arrive, the waiter brought me a fried zucchini sandwich. When I said this is not what I ordered, he said it was. My husband asked him to bring the menu and when we showed him what I ordered he said he would take it back to the kitchen. Within minutes he brought a plate with 4 slices of zucchini that were hard and Luke warm. The 4 slices had a little tomato sauce on them and a few dollops of cheese, Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"We had the most amazing Sunday lunch yesterday. The staff were attentive, the shoulder of lamb and all the trimmings outstanding. The view was spectacular. The few showers we had when sitting outside made no difference to the ambiance and great afternoon we had. Will definitely go back again."
