"The breakfast here recently and it was a real disappointment. the waterglasses were dirty (they returned to get clean), my coffee came with lipstick on the glass (it said back) and the Hollandaise sauce on the ice was just cold out of the refrigerator (it also said back). have dinner before and it was quite good, but after this experience do not go back."

"Had high expectations for this one. Service was pretty slow despite being first diners but we were spoilt with another celebrity chef restaurant the previous day and food was amazing, as was service. Unfortunately for this restaurant, meals were just okay. Nice looking place and friendly staff but I wouldn't dine here again."

"Honestly, the best fish and chips that I had in one, ordered from the trolley, arrived piping hot, fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, teig was nice, chips were also good, fantastic all round."

"Great for a large group, generous portions and good wine prices, the selection is a little limited but when you are with friends it's not that important. I had porterhouse with prawns. Friends had chips, vegetarian salad, nachos and rice."

"Steam Cafe South Brisbane. Along the many eateries overlooking the river southern part of the river, there is a fair few choices to be made. More or less you are more going for the location than the food, and in certain parts there are a few fantastic choices for diner. At the end of the dining scene, many would say that it is the far end of the fine dining, where it becomes closer to fast food/food court style; they would not be incorrect. Which brings up to this place. While, of course it is not the best cafe around by a long or narrow stretch, it is not anywhere near as bad as the reception on here is making it out to be. "We waited at door and eventually a greasy little man who was chatting to a group near the entrance got up from his conversation and asked if he could help us. We declined as he could clearly see us standing there and ignored us. He...then sarcastically wished is a good afternoon. We will ever go there!"

"They like chili here. Both the olive entree and chicken burger had enough chili to let your lips know. The olives were served warm and a decent serve size. The burger was tasty with crunchy bacon and cheese. The Monday $15 special of a schooner and burger is a good deal on this area. <br>

Service was a bit slow considering there were only a handful of people in the place. But there was only one person working the kitchen too.<br>

Nice ambience with room to move onto the street during the earned days. The music was at a volume that allowed conversation without telling. ✔️"
