"Hi Today for the first time after many visits everything was superb as usual but the chips were an absolute disgrace,,old ,cold and dry,..Very upsetting ,but I gave you 5 stars as I would like to think That it wont happen again.I come from Fishers Green and I will come again.Please take notice and dont serve chips like that again .Regards, Nicholas"

"Me and good lady popped in to satisfy the hunger I opted for the Gut Buster and she opted for Pie and Mash and as usual we were not disappointed very tasty and impeccable friendly service as always thoroughly recommend anyone who finds themselves in Stevenage to pay a visit"

"This is a lovely fish chip restaurant and take away. I come here regularly when I'm on this side of town as the food is very good quality, is allways well cooked and very tasty. There is a good menu with the usual chip shop fare on the take away section. The location next to a very busy supermarket, chemist and doctors surgery is handy, and has plenty of parking. My only issue these days is its getting rundown, with sone of the fixed seating having split and repaired with gaffer tape, and dirty in places I.e.the base of the heaters and under the shelf that's next to the can drink fridge. Hopefully this will get sorted out as this is truly a great chippy with nice polite staff and good food."

"During Furlough/lockdown we were incredibly tolerant with restaurants as they were under incredibly pressure and reviewing them was unfair. So this is my first review in 19 months. The Fisherman's Wharf was always a favourite so we were glad that the quality of the food and expertise of the staff have not changed. I would recommend before COVID and I'll still recommend it."

"Run by a very friendly family for over 25 years. Homemade curry sauce that's been delicious since at least 2004. I saw they have started making spicy breaded chicken wings, which were fantastic. Best ive had for a while. Good quality chicken, lots of meat on the bone, well seasoned and the coating was so crispy and not too greasy. Highly recommend, 10/10"

"I have called to eat in front of my train to house and everything I can say is what I have eaten Indian food in Britain and the world and that is right there with the best of them. I had the lamb pasanda and shared the peshwari naan. my buddy had the garlic chilli chicken. mine was one of the most beautiful things I've ever eaten and my buddy said he was just as good. the personal is welcoming and friendly. we sat fast and served in time. it won't take long until I'm back in stevenage and the bombay will be my first choice for eating."
