"It is an important dish here on the East Coast. Fish and Chips to perfection. Lots of fish, just enough fries and of course Cole Slaw and Tartar sauce. Great Wait Staff and friendly and professional service. Well done. Second time eating there and will definitely go back. I m already recommending it to friends. Thank you Whiskey Pub... "We and eaten at this venue a couple of times in the past when it was run by chain hotels and were disappointed, embarrassed in fact when we had friends there. When our service club had its annual social night there last evening (~100 people) we almost passed it up on the basis of our previous experiences. We had an absolutely superb meal, good quantities of roast beef and potatoes - the essential Prince Edward Island meal. We don't understand why tea and coffee were not served after the meal, and no bread and butter plates at the place settings. Strange! The chef did a marvellous job and his organization in the kitchen drew excellent comments, the servers were pleasant and efficient, but the shortcomings are sticking in my mind. The event was after dark in a lower-floor room so we couldn't verify the view outside which I expect was superb."

"Fish and chips (dedicated fryer) The food was great. Service was good and friendly! Separate GF menu, that was clear and had a lot of choice. Has an upright freezer for freezing to take home gluten-free meals and bakes. Recommend this place!"

"August 25, 2022 When visiting Prince Edward Island plan at least 1 or 2 days in Charlottetown. You might like to enjoy lunch or dinner at the wharf. . . many good spots such as Peake’s Quay Restaurant! My wife in I stopped in for lunch! Summer months with good weather sunshine bring the crowds, still a great spot for adult beverages good food! You might hear some live music, or the guy playing the bag pipes as the cruise ships dock! We ordered up a free tropical drinks and beer as we waited for our food. Relax, enjoy the view, and music of PEI. Yes, our seafood entrees were very good! Over all, a nice place to eat in the summer! I’d rate higher than 4.5, but as you move into “ off season “ fewer hours, fewer days open! Now in the fall, only open 1 day ?"
