"Reasonable prices for yummy fish and chips. Chips are always nice and crispy, fish batter seems to not crisp as much but that doesn't detract from the taste. Always busy, this shop seems to be a favorite of many locals."

"Wow!! How fish and chips should be made, light, crispy, crunchy and full of flavour! We stopped to order some saveloy hotdogs as my husband misses them living in Auckland and we had fish and chips with our puppy (who was welcomed with a smile). The fish was fresh and tasty, the chips were crunchy and fluffy inside and getting real free lemons was just a bonus!! Great friendly service, good selection of food and we will be back!!"

"Went here after a long day at the mountain, we just honestly came across it and it was mint. A young lady and an indian man was working and they were so nice. I asked for recommendations and were happy to accomodate. The burgers were mean and garlic butter on point. Also as we were about to leave, they forgot our donut but they ran to the car to give it to us. A+ plus service if you ask me."

"A nice no fuss spot for dinner. There's quite a few vegan options including dessert! They also do delicious cocktails if that's your thing. Quick to bring out food and extremely friendly staff."

"Excellent restaurant and bar in the center of Taupo’s central business district! It is a beautiful space, with lots of wood, lovely woven light fixtures, brass lighting over the bar, ferns, and a fireplace. For beer lovers, there are 10 beers on tap, plus they have a nice wine list and a full bar. The menu is excellent, with strong sharing plates, pizzas, pub standards like fish and chips, great sounding salads, plus a range of other entrees. We got Chicken Parmigiana (yum!! and followed it with Sticky Date Pudding for dessert. Great all-around experience and I’d definitely go back."

"A Chinese restaurant and takeaway, there has some tables where you can dine in or takeaway of course. I do think it is better than the chain store Noodles Cantxxxs. If you are here, I suggest you can try here for Chinese food or some basic takeaway like fish and chip. The holder is a very nice guy, super friendly. I like it!!"
