"Called in at 9am for a family breakfast. Firstly the restaurant was lovely plenty of tables and chairs everywhere clean and lots of staff around. A very varied menu with lots of choices and i chose the traditional breakfast. Large portions all cooked fresh served hot very tasty. Friendly staff will definitely be back"

"What used to be the best chippy around for Miles as sadly turned into the worst. Greasy food pitta bread replaced with naan. Not been happy for a couple trips but tonight definitely decided will NOT be returning"

"The Codfather 's been our 'local ' chippie for the last year (been through a couple of nearer ones but just not reliable enough, so the extra mile drive is worth it). It 's a necessarily unhealthy treat maybe once every month or so. It will be better in the summer when you 've got the weather to suit sitting by Horsehay Pool but for now happy to bring the chips home. Always decent portions and always nicely prepared I 'm old fashioned enough to stick with the idea that you only buy when the shop is busy so the chips are piping hot and fresh. Friendly service and the pre order option has really helped in the lock down."

"Quick electronic screen for ordering broken, no problem order as normal at till,most food items on menu not available out of stock!!, staff had to keep stopping to go to kitchen to check if available! which held everybody up. On fourth attempt I was able to order...something I fancied on menu, it took 50 minutes before we saw our order delivered to our table(everybody there were complaining about the wait), there should have been naam bread with my meal so I had to wait again for that. Food was not bad but we wasted well over an hour for a quick sunday lunch overall bad service,badly managed will avoid in future!."

"Been going to Andys for years best chippy in town family run buisness. Even if there is a que its no bother to wait as staff are really quick and freindly and dont mess about i love this place i have even asked them for a job but food this good i would be like the side of a house in six weeks. Bavo Andys Dont waste your money somehere else"

"Really lovely spot for some lunch! Me and my sister went today and enjoyed it so much we are already planning on coming again soon and have even sent our family to go and enjoy it tonight too , which they have already reported back with a very positive experience. "A genuine delight eating here. Went for lunch and had the brisket with chorizo, beans and potatoes and it was a joy to eat. The rest of my family had the flat-iron steak, which was one of the most lean and tender pieces of meat I've tried, and the fish and chips, which for less than a tenner was remarkable. Service was delightful, as well, and the chef was down-to-earth and seemed to love the food he had created. Will definitely be going again, as I've heard the sunday lunch is a must-eat!"
