"First time here and I, we were thoroughly impressed. The fish and shrimp were fresh, cooked to perfection and very tasty. I ordered the beans on the side and mixed them with my brown rice. We both upgraded to the Brussel Sprouts side, worth the extra $1.99!! Delicious. Service was quick, the restaurant was well cared for and the employees were patient and very helpful. We ordered an extra shrimp skewer, upgraded our sides and our total bill, with a tip, was under $50. Excellent value! A new restaurant we are adding to our list of top favorites!! Rivals the Lure, but a more affordable, casual setting."

"Girl behind the counter was quick, friendly, and efficient. Pizza was overcooked (as were three others that came out of the oven). Salad bar was under-stocked. Pizza tasted fine, but I'd probably choose another place next time."

"I love this place! The food is fresh, tasty, creamy, and affordable. The service is always top-notch and accommodating. Try the California pasta with grilled salmon, or the pesto pasta with salmon...ah-mazing! They have a wonderful selection of wine or beer that pairs great with their dishes. The ambiance is okay but it's so close to home it makes it on my list of top takeouts!"

"We had fantastic service and fast hot delicious food. The crispy chicken costoletta with extra sauce on the side is heaven. Perfectly pounded out chicken breast, perfect amount of breading, perfect crisp from frying... and that sauce. Lick the plate sauce. I didn't do that, but it should be called that.. The new Korean chicken IS OUTSTANDING. Truly surprised us in freshness, portion, flavor and spice, so excited to see kimchi! The crispy crab bites were creamy inside, crunchy outside and packed with flavor but they weren't hot in the middle. Nicely crisped on the outside, though, great color. Strawberry lemonade tasted perfect. The coffee was freshly brewed when ordered and the cheesecake slices were mostly fabulous! We had the fresh banana cream cheesecake, which the fresh banana slices on the plate were a bit sloppy and brownish but that adds flavor I guess. The caramelicious Snickers cheesecake was a dramatic improvement from the original old school Snickers cheesecake. I miss the chocolate drizzle with peanuts on the whip cream. The caramel on the plate was crunchy, was not impressed by that. I used my fork, I didn't lick the plate. Haha. Overall 5 stars, the service was 11/10. I forgot to take pictures until I was full."

"As one with an English heritage, I've had an enjoyable experience dining at several locations in and near San Fernando Valley. To discover the Crown Anchor was to finally be satisfied with the fact that a favourite dish: toad in the hole, was available on the menu. It's been years since tasting good Yorkshire pudding with bangers in a hot onion gravy sauce, and the results were most satisfying, taking me back to the U.K., among other fine English fare that my two companions thoroughly enjoyed, as well. Good form to include the English breakfast available all day, with the obligatory beans on toast, among other simple fare, while the bangers mash always appealed well for its simplistic, but very satisfying results. Our servers were gracious and prompt about the service provided, and thorough in maintaining safety and health regulations per pandemic circumstances, but the establishment offered plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoors, with proper safety guidelines followed by everyone. The interior itself is a beauty unto the British scene with wonderful seating arranged in half-circled booths of vinyl-like upholstery that provide space for 4-5 persons, with a quieter, large chamber, and the pub to another room with plenty of sports monitors for those who enjoyed a noisier social scene, and an open expanse outside, with a tented arrangement for when crowds become too large. All in all, the Crown Anchor has done well to provide a pleasant experience in food, decor, and general service. I wish it the best of success and prosperity, with thanks to the staff who provided for us, and satisfaction for everyone who dines at this beautiful British establishment. Thank you."
