"We went there tonight and as usual the service is friendly and the food is excellent.there is one thing that annoys me to no end. As a retired Restaurateur who has been in the industry for well over 50 years, the owner of the Squire's Four Pub not one's has said good evening to us, checked how everything was, said thank you for visiting or good bye when you leave .Not a word, its like he could not care less about his clientele.If the food and service was not that excellent we would have dropped the place off our list a long time ago."

"I took my Dad here Remembrance Day as they offered free food for Veterans on this day. I had not been here in years as recently moved back to Vernon. They have done a lot of renos and new menu and the food was delicious....I had the Vipers Smash Burger which won the best burger in town seriously best burger I have eaten. Service was quick and waitress was super attentive."

"Five years ago, Martens was a very popular place in town. It had its own craft beer, Jenga, shuffleboard, and ping pong. It also had a decent food menu. I used to take my friends from out of town here. Today was my first time...in there in about four years. We were in the mood for pizza and nachos. The entire food menu covered less than a page. There were chips and salsa, and two meat pizzas as options. The menu used to be much bigger. We left without ordering anything. Jenga, shuffleboard, and ping pong weren't available either. They also had a sign saying the kitchen was closed between 1:45 and 3. I think all of these shortcomings are due to the pandemic. They likely have only one cook. Rather than complain, I feel bad knowing they are hurting. It looks like their craft beer is still intact which is great. Sadly I can't recommend this place given what Longhorn, Kal, Alexander's, and Squires all offer in town. Rootin' for ya, Martens!"

"Awesome. The food is just great, the breakfasts come out fast and they are cooked to perfection. Strawberry Smoothies at anytime of day are great. We have been staying at the Pacific Inn attached for about a week now. Ricky's is a great restaurant. Give them a go, you'll love it."

"Don't think we'll return. Very very dirty restaurant, from walls to flooring (just gross) to seats. (tables and benches look fairly newish but not clean)Scares me to think what the kitchen is like and how dirty the atea mu food was prepared is .... really icky!Not the usual White Spot."
