"Our first experience was a good one after the museum hours on Friday evening. High quality menu, professional service and live music made for a nice date. Now Muse only needs patrons! We almost had the space to ourselves. If it gets known, this could be a great downtown restaurant."

"Visiting Dallas area In Victoria for the first time take my family for a good meal, but we didn't get it. We waited for food for over an hour when it finally came out, it was cold. My family didn't want to complain so they tried to manage, but I had to send my back because the steak was not cooked as I requested and I could eat cold food. I paid almost $300 for our meals just to waste for dinner because the food was cold. The server was nice, but we still had to ask her for articles we ordered that she had forgotten. We got macaroni that we never get. My family didn't want me to make a recovery, but I'm not happy with the service. For this kind of money, I expect a good service and hot food."

"Afternoon tea at the Pendray was exceptional! We’ve tried 3 different afternoon tea places in Victoria plus numerous afternoon teas back in Vancouver, and we felt that this was the best afternoon tea experience we have ever had. First you walk towards this beautiful mansion, which is an elegant family home and not tacky like Craigdarroch Castle. Then you walk into beautiful dark wood-paneled rooms with original stained glass windows. The tea rooms are so quaint, elegant, and natural. We felt like we were being transported back in time. I ordered the West Coast afternoon tea, and my partner ordered the Traditional tea. My favourite items were the baby shrimp sandwich and the earl grey mini scone. I did feel the white chocolate lavender scone was too sweet, as was the case with the macarons. Overall, we think the best afternoon tea food we’ve had was at Pointe Ellice, but as an experience as a whole, Pendray has been the most special. Note: there doesn’t seem to be AC in the tea rooms (it’s a heritage building after all) so I wouldn’t go on a really hot day."

"Reputable kudos to the latest beverage menu, which was a great accompaniment to delicious, fresh, beautiful seafood. very recommend the fire the “Genny. the seafood basketery board does not look like a tonne, but the servings were delicious and fill for two. great attention and service from the staff as well."

"Hi My friend and i shared two dishes pizza and Kale salad. The pizza was wonderful but we thought the Kale salad was too bland.. Normally I love Kale but this one did not meet our expectations. More salt? addition of dried fruit? I must commend your wait staff absolutely outstanding."
