"Bought a fish cake and chips. The chips were passable only because they weren't the cheapest variety. The fish cake was very salty. Lots of raw onion and very, very little fish. The crumb was a redeeming quality. It was a nice crumb. If only they could get the inside right."

"Apparently, this place has the best seafood in the city. I must admit that the broken coral trout was absolutely delicious. over the street from the bowls club, it is a good opportunity to eat some really good seafood. it can be a lot to do during dinner, so I recommend a little earlier."

"This is a pretty corner ngl. Good chips cheese and gravy, it's pretty yummy. Would recommend highly, if you're ever around the block make sure you get the chips cheese and gravy and a coke."

"One of the joys of coming to Mackay is visiting this awesome seafood shop. Lovely food, always fresh and great staff. My only wish would be to have more of the shops spread across town, the drive out to slade point is a little in...convenient.. however we continue to do because the food is just soooo nice and fresh!"
