"Other than maybe down the Quayside this is the best Chip Shop in the area. The staff are really friendly, the portions are generous and the food is delicious."

"Ive neen going to.Frydays for thrir fish since they opened. I cant comment on other items from the massive menu as im more than happy with their fish chips. They're always coolef fresh to order and served steaming snd crispy. My only complaint, if it is a complaint at all, is that their jumbo cod is too big! It seems to be cooked for too long, resulting in a huge dry piece of cod coated in overcooked batter. Ive mentioned it a few times and persisted. But they never msnaged to get it quite rigjt for me I know such large fillets can be cooked to perfection because I often eat them when I pass a rival shop 100 miles away but my simple answer for Frydays is to order the next size down and enjoy the perfection!!"

"I booked the conservatory for my husband's 60th surprise party. The staff were amazing. Everything was done to perfection. Everyone at the party praised the lovely buffet. I couldn't have wished for a better night. A good time was had by all."
