"My boyfriend and I went to Lake District for my 21st birthday. After climbing Scafell Pike, we were travelling back to our place of accommodation in the dark, in heavy rain and I drove into an unseen pothole. I had a completely flat tyre and neither one of us could remember how to change it. We had no signal or service. So I began to drive slowly (which you really shouldn’t do! , and we managed to make it to The Screes Inn. The people who worked there were so incredibly helpful. The wheel was hard to get off because I had driven on it but they persevered and continued to help until I had my spare wheel on. After, they invited us in for a hot chocolate as all our clothes were soaked through from the rain. Such kind people who went out of their way to help and honestly without them I don’t know what me and my bf would have done! Had to leave a review as some way of thanks. Thank you, your act of kindness has not been forgotten"

"The food take so long, then the granma came to say we have to wait outside or she will call the security because we aere complaining about the waiting time. Of course she didn't call anymone because we were just standing inside asking for the food that took 30 minutes (we were the only table at the place). The grandson (I think) was so nice he doesn't deserve to be making excuses for his grandmother (or whatever she was)"
