"Went for a work team lunch at Market Galley for some fish and chips. We ordered Snapper, Gurnard with chips and they tasted fresh and delicious. Nice lunch atmosphere too sitting outside on a nice sunny winter/spring day."

"Came here for lunch one day when they were doing a deal, buy something and get a pastry for free. I grabbed a lamb curry and a mixed berry cheesecake and both were super delicious! Really enjoyed the curry and the cheesecake was so smooth and yummy. Great if you are on the go to as they have a separate section where you can grab your own meal from the fridge and take away. Will definitely be back for more."

"Had been here before , but only for a drink or snack . This time I came to kill time while the other half attended some cocktail do up the road. So, yes, sadly I ate solo. I like the atmosphere here, love the decor, tables and have found the staff always friendly. Sometimes giving advice about the tap beers which is good seeing as there is many to choose from. On this occasion due to it being restaurant month I chose the special they had going.... $40 for the crispy calamari Cajun spiced fried until crisp and served with homemade lemon mayonnaise and the fancy fish chips fish dipped in their own special craft beer batter and lightly fried . And all washed down with the 2.5 Zeffer Cider on tap. The cider is a new one to me , somehow a unique taste that I've never tasted with a cider before, but still went down well . As for the calamari.. ..perfect and very nice mayonnaise. The fish and chips impressed me more, especially seeing as I had read reviews which criticised the fish.....not so with mine. The fish must have been fried just right as it was quite tasty with the batter being cooked right so it was nice and crispy. The fries weren't exactly chunky fries. More thin. That was the biggest complaint I had...So, anyway will definitely be back sometime and recommend to anyone to try for themselves. And good luck selecting from the tap beers......so many to choose from!!!."

"Second week we have had the burgers Soul, Dawnbreaker and Lamboghini, with a side of beer battered chips. Hot, fresh and tasty, far better value for money than the specialty burger joints on Ponsonby Road. The owner said they were down a staff member tonight, so credit to you guys for delivering under pressure. Thanks."

"Absolutely love coming here, I am yet to have bad experience. The environment is cozy and inviting and it feels like it is part of the community when you walk in, everyone seems to know everyone. Which is clear hallmark of a good cafe.<br/ <br/ This is a light-filled place with a nice and simple aesthetic. A very comfy and cozy setting for those winter months and a light filled clean space for those summer days. They have done an excellent job in this department. <br/ <br/ The staff and service is one of the standouts at Biskit. The staff here are some of the friendliest I have ever encountered. From the moment you walk in to paying the bill they are very friendly,chatty, and are always smiling. This makes for a very pleasant experience that draws you back. The service is also excellent from the moment you walk in, you are greeted appropriately and seated quickly. The food and coffee comes out very fast, even if they are packed. Which they often are, especially on the weekends. But don't be put off by this as we have never had any issues with being seated quickly.<br/ <br/ The food is delicious and presented on an excellent menu that caters for most. There is mostly your typical brunch/breakfast options and the ability to make your with the side options. I often get either the breakfast tacos; smashed avo; or the eggs on toast. Which I have never had any issues with. My partner often gets the porridge which is always met with good response. Or she will quite simply make her own with a selection of sides. The coffee here is also delicious and I personally think it has some of the best in Auckland. <br/ <br/ Overall I really do love this place and it has quickly becoming a regular. With really affordable delicious food, and service that you expect from a fine dining restaurant, you really can't go wrong. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cafe in Parnell."

"Such a beautiful setting with a huge garden. Dog friendly. A beautiful place to host events. We used Zomato Gold. You can get a discounted membership with this code LITTLETD. Get a free main with another ordered. We only paid for the fish and chips and got the burger free. Food was pleasant but nothing out of ordinary. We just love the ambience and such friendly staff in the midst of being super busy. Highly recommended place for families and big (or small) group. Dog lovers will love this place."

"Somewhat expensive, but very crispy chips are a bonus, as is the range available it's surprising how hard it is to get seafood in the middle of NZ's biggest coastal city! Nice range of dishes, but it's hard to go past the fish and chips as good as you'd get at any gastropub, though a little smaller than a number of the pubs for the same size. As usual for a Elliot Stables place, be ready to knifefight for a table, and bring your own wet wipes to wipe it down chances are that the tables are sticky again. *sigh*"
