"Looking for seafood had seen Porto's while walking around Rome. After our Vatican tour, we headed to Porto's. We had the tuna tartar, fried calamari prawns the smoked salmon salad. Food was great! Service was great. Staff friendly. Price reasonable."

"Treated like we were a nuisance. I asked about the pecorino cheese and whether there was a suitable vegetarian alternative as pecorino is made from animal rennet in the production process. The lady then spent 10 minutes trying to disprove us despite showing her evidence that pecorino is not suitable for vegetarians. She could have just given us options for more vegetarian friendly cheeses but instead she was rude and inconsiderate. This was our anniversary dinner and it was a horrible experience. Ended up getting the vegetarian burgers which tasted terrible and paid a hefty price for mediocre food. I would avoid. It seems they don’t take well to any negative constructive feedback judging by other similar reviews here. Save your money and go elsewhere."
