"Great party pub which is slightly off the central Amsterdam nightlife. Good for sport, they will try their best to get your game on. Friendly staff who know how to banter. Fab atmosphere and drinks list. If I need to catch a match or have a late night beer in the Dam then Coco's will always be my first choice."

"On the north side of the ij overlooking the water. Located behind Jumbo. Large open space with a bar and outdoor dining. The Stork specializes in fish. Service was provided by an attentive young man with excellent english. Food was very good and portions were appropriate. Our group had appetizers of Fish Cakes (not worth it) not bad, just nothing special. In addition we had pasta with clams (vongole) the smoked fish and the fish of the day as well as the lobster bisque. All prepared well and tasty. Downsides: menu seemed a little limited on main courses. Fish cakes were pre-prepared and deep fried. Would definitely return. Short walk from Holiday Inn Noord."

"A fun and simple dinner location. You have a big gin menu and the shells are good. The service is really good, although both servers we met went beyond and beyond and were smiling and friendly. We sat outside on the terrace, we were worried it would be cold, but the blankets and heaters make it really warm and cozy would recommend sitting outside!"

"First time in Amsterdam and we stumbled across this place. Decided to have some food here tonight, I had the Irish stew and it was to die for. Can't recommend this place enough if you are pining for the home comforts. Will definitely be coming here again when I next visit!"
