"Our third visit. Food is freshly prepared and very very tasty. I had the catch of the day which was fresh salmon with beetroot and caper mash and vegs which did not disappoint.. my husband is a meat eater and had the lamb chops which he recommends to all. Everything is so full of flavour, seasoned perfectly and well presented. For dessert my husband took the crepes filled with fresh strawberries and chantilly cream which again he rated as delicious. The owner/staff are all very friendly and helpful and provide excellent customer service. It is becoming one of our favourite places and we will definitely be back as well as recommending to all our family and friends."

"On fair Monday, without a reservation, and did not disturb a window table, many people sat outside because it was such a nice night. we chose from the 2 curses and a drink for £12.95 menu. not a massive choice that is totally acceptable due to the price, but there was something on the menu for everyone to like. I had patè and my nabenbein had chicken with parma ham. both courts were beautiful, we cleaned our tellers. main course for me was huh filled with mushroom something, and veg etc, nabeby had leber tweepers, again, both dishes were absolutely delicious, and clean dish again. beautiful, relaxed ambiente, and service was excellent, nice chatty, well maintained, and on the ball. We sat in restaurant for easy 3 hours, and never too any time we were made to feel that we had to hurry, or were never under pressure to return the table. this was our second visit on the coast and would not hesitate to go back when we are at ayr. x"
