"The Red Lion at Revesby was a comfortable stay and food was hot and delicious. The Manager and Staff were very sociable and attentive to our needs. Good Big Breakfast to give you a good day. We would certainly recommend this to anyone."

"Lovely thatched cottage style restaurant. Parking to rear of the restaurant but slightly limited. Parking on the road available. Lovely beams but watch your head if you are tall. The Sunday lunch was excellent. Good service overall. Definitely will be back"

"Came for a meal with my other half on the 14th february. he had the black blue burger absolutely loved it I had the beef doom bar pudding. absolutely enjoyed it.... could have eaten it again. we also had the lemon meringue the dirty mud Pie...blood beautiful, as always the service was before place. well made brewer’s fayre."

"The food portions were massive, but my steak didn't come how I asked. The lasagne was a bit plain but was pretty decent. What really let it down was the service. We waited at the bar for about 15 mins. We were then sat down for 25 minutes after being shown to the table before even being greeted. The food then took 50 minutes to come out to us. We were ready to up and leave to be honest and just pay for the drinks. Waitresses were in the kitchen for ages and ages at a time, no one checked up on us and we had to go to the bar to get more drinks. One couple of ladies waited an hour just for their starter alone, we were going to get dessert but didn't bother as we didn't want to wait even more. Then when we went to pay, another customer had to go and fetch a server . It's a real shame because the food was alright, but we won't be coming back again. For an over £40 meal, to have that level of bad service was a really disappointing time, especially considering we were on a date. Just overall felt really awkward and bit gutted we paid so much."

"Fantastic food and service. As someone mentioned earlier, Bateman’s XB is served much too cold for beer. As cold as that, which is ok for lager, kills the flavour but probably put through a snake with all the other drinks. Was perfect on our previous visits."
