"We recently visited the Barley Mow in Brockville for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was not very busy, probably because of the festival going on in the downtown area. Our server was very friendly and attended to us quickly. I had the fish and chips. The piece of fish was very big, covering almost the entire plate. There was a huge amount of fries, enough for 2 people. I do not like a lot of batter with my fish and this one came with a thin coat of batter. However, it was a bit greasy and I only had some of it. My friend had a chicken wrap and fries. Her sandwich was tasty. I would like to send a shout-out to our server, Marida, who went out her way to make sure that we were fully satisfied with our meal. If you are looking for pub fare, this Barley Mow is a good place to go."

"My wife and I both ordered the Greek wrap, and were disappointed. There was no mushroom, just eggplant, peppers, feta and spinach, and it was quite oily tasting. Some tzatziki and cucumber in the wrap would have brought a nice freshness. The service was good."

"I stopped at different times... they're always closed. I'm over today. October 8 and they're closed for Thanksgiving... A restorer closed on the holidays... I'm not gonna try to eat here anymore."

"Our first visit to Brockville, so asked hotel where to eat. Bud's is downtown right on the Bay, with a good view of the river and New York. Service was very friendly and the food was excellent. The music was a little loud to my taste, but you could talk over it without yelling."
