"What a lovely spot to have lunch. Not only is the decor gorgeous and the view of the wheel and Table Mountain a delight but the staff are friendly and the food is friggen delicious. Our table had two 'Bite of the Ocean ' platters and one 'Platter for one ' and we all cleared our pans/platters. The fish was fresh and tasty and it was an overall lovely experience to have after visiting Robben Island."

"Staff are fantastic! Sit indoors on a rainy day or outdoors in nicer weather. Food pricing is fair and everything we had was fresh and enjoyable. Can be busy over weekends. Take a walk around the Company Gardens and then enjoy lunch or tea at the restaurant after. Well worth the visit."

"Ocean Basket will always remind me of younger, carefree days when eating out was akin to going on holiday. I love seafood so pretty much everything on the menu gets a yes from me. This is the only restaurant that cooks mussels in a way that makes them bearable for me. The decor here is a bit dated and it could do with a revamp to give it new life. The management is efficient and the staff are friendly and courteous."

"The service at Ocean Basket, Camps Bay is decent and they check up on you to make sure you don’t need anything more. <br/ <br/ I tried the Prawn Special with a side of Fried Calamari and I usually don’t like Calamari but the way Ocean Basket makes it I actually enjoy it. The Prawn Special comes with Rice and Chips so it definitely is quite a filling meal.<br/ <br/ Atmosphere and view from the top is amazing, it overlooks the Camps Bay Beach so make sure you try and get a seat near the window.<br/"

"Love it the ambiance the surrounding and staff are fantastic. Have had the odd bad service but not anything to moan about could not possibly compare this to Ocean Basket like I have seen in the odd review. You get what you pay for and Bronwen our waitress was fab."

"Stopped for a snack and drink. This place is off the beaten track, but so beautiful. The view is really special. We sat outside and just the view and atmosphere is worth the visit. Staff very friendly. Service was good"
