"Nice and comfortable place specially on 1st floor, where is the restaurant. The waiter was nice and polite. In first moment was a mistake with the wine that we order, and on the end he found that the wine that we ordered was out of stock, but he recommended other that we enjoy. The food was OK but we think that need a bit changes."

"I was in London for the first time in my life, this bar was just a couple of blocks from my hotel... I met George who's on the right.... He's a great guy and a regular there.... The staff and crowd really made me feel like I was at home.... I had the bangers and mash... It was perfect!.... Say hi to George if you go, sits on the right when you walk in...."

"It can not be many pubs in this 900 chain that are simply called “wetherspoons” but this is one. I was on the way to a wine tasting in belgravia when I thought it wise to eat something before. this place is located above wh smith in victoria stations bankrupt. it even has its own roll stairs to get up there. it was busy when I arrived and found a table on the outside balcony. I soon realized that it was quite cold, so went back inside and managed to find the only free table. I ordered the whole day brunch and a glass house wine. at £10.05 for both this was a bit more than you would normally pay in a Wetherspoons operation, but it probably reflects the location of the pubs. it is very reasonable considering that many pubs in the center of london now calculate £8/£9 only for a glass wein. the food was good. it was hot. it's not quite gordon ramsey, but it does what it says on the dose (or should be a shaft menu.) I'm going to dip here definitiw before the next wine tasting event."

"Great pub in perfect location just 1 minute form Oxford Street Station and The London Palladium. I often visited Argyll Arms, and if I happen to be in the center of London, I always come for a few drinks and delicious food. Once you enter the building, you will be presented in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. You also have dining room upstairs if you prefer that. The selection of beer, alice and spirits is impressive, and it can take some time to decide. However, if you are not sure what to get, the bar staff will only navigate and narrow the options for you. In addition, the attitude of the bar staff is wonderful. Fast service, smiling and welcoming, teamwork. Sometimes it's easy to see how they work. If you are not sure what to get regarding food, my personal favorites are burgers, fish and chips, cakes and steaks. If you want to share something, a perfect option would be landlord plated or fish plate. A special thanks to people who run, manage and work on this place, as it is always in perfect condition. The tables are wiped, the bar area is organized and clean, the toilets are supervised. So if you are not sure where to start in the center of London, this is the perfect place."

"It was World Cup Semi-Finals and we were staying in Paddington, so took a walk around looking for a sports bar, that had a fine balance between style (for two, not such big sport watchers, ladies) and somewhere we could watch the game between the Springboks, and the Lions. We could not have found a better bar! The decor was stylish with a purple hue and lots of airplane paraphernalia done with the perfect amount of cool. The bar was clearly popular but never got overly packed. We didn't sit in them as they were already taken but the airline seats looked super comfy and a unique choice for seating. All in all an unexpected fun night, filled with great service, lots of banter, and ice-cold prosecco. And of course, it did end well for us when the Springboks, who we were rooting for, won much to the chagrin of the English fans!"
