"Very cozy place for the perfect Sunday Roast. We came in with a group of 7 and were accommodated swiftly. Service is friendly, and the food is delicious. We love that they have mini versions of their dessert, served with a hot drink. This way you can still try their delicious triple chocolate brownie"

"Big pre wedding group of us but the two waitresses coped admirably with us all, me and Mrs C just had an earth board to share with chips, the sharer was very good, excellent hummus, onion rings, breads, chicken bites and halloumi, washed down with a couple of decent pints of Charlie Wells DNA amber ale I cut my drinking teeth so to speak on Charles Wells ales so its maybe part of my DNA!! . Very pleasant evening for all of us"

"My teen daughter had not eaten any lunch so was very hungry when I picked her up at tea time from her part time job so suggested having fish and chips for dinner. We don't eat fish and chips very often but have always been disappointed by the inedible offerings at other shops in the town so drove further to go here after having good food here on other occasions. We weren't disappointed. I'm a big eater, and usually get the large cod, but as I knew the portions were large, I decided to go for the regular size this time. Thank goodness I did! The fishes were huge, with only a light, crispy batter covering and were non greasy. It was nice that the batter hadn't stuck to the paper when we got our meals home too. The chip portions (We had a regular portion each),were huge too and we struggled to eat it all. Chips were delicious too, crispy, with nice soft centres and non greasy and hardly any thin ones with no substance that we hate. The oil tasted fresh and hot that they were cooked in, even though there was barely any grease at all. I thought they'd given us large portions by mistake as there was enough for 2 in 1 portion! Lovely quick, takeaway meal, and we'll definitely be returning, even though it's not the nearest shop to us."
