"The general consensus in our family is that this was by far the best fish chips we ever had. the tartaric acid sauce and the muddy peas tasted particularly amazing and fresh. we had the premium chind fish and child portions and enjoyed them at bayard’s cove below. I wish we had more time to make them sincere. we went around 17 o'clock when it wasn't too busy."

"We are holidaying on site at Leonards cove. I had the special fish dish of Brill, ratatouille, and potatoes which were out of this world! The dayboat fish and chips were also very good... In fact my partner said they were the best F&C's he's ever had! We're going to book again for our last night too."

"Just enjoyed an amazing birthday meal in Dartmouth. The Green Thai mussels were the most delicious mussels I’ve ever tasted!! Highly recommended! Calamari, king prawns mini crab cakes to share to start, then Amaretto crunch to finish. Delicious! Be back soon xx"

"We chose this restaurant because of the location and reviews. The location is terrific but sadly the service didn’t match. We pre-booked, it was a quiet night yet we felt like an inconvenience. The only friendly conversation was when the bill was presented. The main courses were good, the dessert was disappointing. Perhaps this was an ‘off night’ and didn’t reflect the welcome or service that is mentioned in other reviews."

"Charming ambiente with a cozy atmosphere. always a warm and really friendly welcome. excellent drinks and menu choices. I had a nice birthday dinner with 18 restaurants and other friends joined our party for drinks and music. Although the staff was very busy this evening, check in with full table bookings and hotel guests. they did their best to take care of our party with care and efficiency. our meals were excellent. credit to the kitchen team members. many thanks to charlie and her great team that my birthday meeting makes a special evening."
