"Great, decent pub duck. we had no reason to complain about our recent visit. I had the curry and my mother had the chicken salad. both were delicious. we had the chef’s counter during previous evening visits and it is also worth a big one. the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Would definitely stay here again! Welcoming and friendly service, deceptive from the outside as the inside has recently undergone refurbishment and is well presented. It will be amazing when they have finished it and done the outside as well! Food was faultless, not too much choice on the menu (which we liked) and was delicious (breakfast and diner). Our room was upgraded as they were not very busy and the rates were more than reasonable as we’d paid almost double the night before for a very similar room!"
