"Although we had eaten in there before the food was ok but today we had the Sunday roast omg it was very disappointing the roast potatoes were rank they were hard, uncooked looking partner bit into his and it tasted off mine was just hard couldn't even get my knife in it the meat was ok but cold, you get veg which again ok to eat the best thing was the mash tells you something when the best thing on the plate was mash lol never again is all u can say"

"Booked a table, only ones in which should have given us a clue. Menu definitely not as described online, shocking vegetarian choice, frozen chips, kids chicken nuggets, well you had to search for chicken.....Two had pasta, one just couldn't eat it, flavourless. Not that we would have stayed for dessert but we're told kitchen had closed due to an accident, accident being it shouldn't have been open in the first place. The waitress was really nice but this was no compensation for extremely poor, overpriced food."

"Good honest fish and chips. Ordered Haddock and chips. Fish cooked to order and was completely boneless and tasty. Chips were nicely done. Reasonable prices and good portion sizes. I would rate it the best fish and chips in the area."

"Arrived to buy fish n chip lunch as heard good reviews in the past, what a disappointment. Ordered Haddock plaice chips. Batter looked anaemic and wasn't cooked all the way through and tasted extremely fatty, I know fish and chips are supposed to be fatty but these were not nice. Would not visit again sorry. £18 wasted !!!"

"Absolutely love this place, food is great and well priced and cooked to how you want. The staff and the manageress are all very polite, kind and very helpful and welcoming. Also l like the fact that they only take cash and not card as they are a few companies keeping cashless from happening.
