"I live in the local area and haven't visited the Royal Oak for many years due to constant changes in landlords (I didn't actually see any of them! and inexperienced, unfriendly staff. I decided to book in for a meal last night as I heard good reports. What a difference! The food was great Stefano was so attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. "Service was friendly. Good value for money. The main issue is with the order and pay app, which I’ve always enjoyed using and is more important now than ever, previously when you ordered a short you had the option of no mixer, but that option...for some reason has gone, you are now forced into ordering a mixer and paying extra for it even if you didn’t want it."
