"Have spent four nights here. the rooms were very clean and seemingly only recently renovated, the bathrooms looked very new, the beds were cozy. there was a small breakfast buffet and additionally a map from which you could choose various breakfast dishes, e.g. full irish breakfast. super delicious. the bar was great. very rustic, every evening live music, friendly staff and a well-mixed audience. a huge selection of beer and whiskys and also the eating was great. so highly recommended, especially since you have everything in the direct environment you need and can reach the national park quickly with the car."

"Cannot fault the service and food in Monks lounge! Despite being busy we always receive lovely service from the staff and are made to feel welcome. Have dined here 3 days in a row, twice today and each meal has been perfect. The restaurant lounge is relaxed with a nice buzz and the bar in front is great for a chilled pint . They even put a match on tv after I requested for an FA cup fixture on Sunday, much appreciated. The cocktails are amazing and highly recommended! Special thanks to Heidi and Vigor for making every visit a happy memory and looking after us so well. We come to the hotel every year and are already planning our visit for Spring 2024!!"

"A Killarney Hidden Gem of a restaurant! Best steak we had during our stay. This place has a welcoming vibe that will bring you back again. I was told by shannon natives to eat here, and happy they did. this place has a short list of elements on the menu, but that only means that all that it will choose will be good. the menu has brunch, lunch, bottled and designed beer, spirituose and good coffee. its picturesque, popular and inexpensive."

"Sunday lunch, lamb dinner was tasty! Then wanted to get a dessert and the waitress said, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we don't have cream . All the desserts have cream as a side serving! Sad song!"
