"Many thanks that so much the manager and the nice bar staff makes for our night brilliant too ray. they were from the moment I came there when we were all just absolutely beautiful for all of us and I am incredibly grateful how the night was running so smooth. the service for our party of 22 was exceptional, and the eating incredible, (notes to the cook.) I very much hope that they will stay the full time manager there, as they have a beautiful art away with their customers and employees and beautiful large bright smile. many thanks once again the night was an absolute success for them and their bar staff. rules jade xx"

"Nice vibe in this pub which has a large garden and welcomes very well behaved dogs. Plenty of seating in booths or armchairs plus a lot outside. Drinks were not as expensive as expected; the food was tasty but overpriced and the waitress didn't write down our order which I suspect was why the steak was served medium rather than medium rare. Rookie? They had a lovely singer in a corner of the pub which was so nice but it was too loud for me and they did oblige turning the speaker down which I really appreciated. I'll definitely revisit and look forward to seeing the garden in summer."

"Spent a day having tests at Lewisham hospital and popped into the centre for lunch Cod and chips, lemon and sachet of tartare sauce on a plate eating in only plenty of condiments everywhere Absolutely delicious hot food Staff very polite and friendly, tables...and floor cleaned as soon as the tables are freed up, all totally organised and worth a trip."

"Had a roast with the family. It was alright, nothing special to be honest. The beef was really nice but the rest of the roast wasn't very nice. We ordered a side of pigs in blankets and extra veg that for some wierd reason, they brought to the table a good 20 mins before the roasts?! I had to ask to send them back to keep warm on the hotplate and by the time the roasts did come, they'd dried up. The beef shin nuggets £8.50 /nearly £3 each! Weren't very nice or worth the money. Nice enough staff though and it was busy, but overall, won't be going back for a roast there again."

"I am so annoyed I didn't check any of the reviews for this place. What a mistake. Obviously the owners don't care as the reviews have been so terrible for so long and the food is awful. We thought it might be a treat to get fish and chips on a sunny day and popped in here. After ordering I was surprised to see that we were being served chips from a container, rather than being fried there, same with the fish. Everything is just sitting in a heated area. The chips were undercooked and tasteless, the cod was greasy and tasted horrible, same with the battered sausage. The only positive was that we learned to never to waste our money there again."
