"My favorite casual seafood spot in Monterey. The seafood is fresh, the whole menu is fairly priced, and the service is fast and professional. The last time I stopped in for lunch I had a Cup of Clam Chowder, the Sand Dabs Appetizer plate and a Coke for less than $30 with tax. Two thumbs up for me."

"After a long day whale watching with our guys and working out a dramamine-induced haze, this place was all we needed to be. It is an intimate place with perhaps a dozen tables, some of which have great views of the marina and its local fauna. The food was hearty, tasty and generous (cioppino with very fresh shellfish and crab-stuffed sea bass were in place), but the real highlight here was the service. Amazingly attentive waiting staff was aware of our parental tiredness and went out of the way to make our visit as smooth and pleasant as possible to feed from the rush of children meals through the kitchen to feed them to compose two of our three adult drinks to open a few windows to feed our ocean-initiated guys some curious gulls a French frit. I would come back here alone, but the seafood was also excellent!"

"We had the Clam Chowder, salmon plate and fried Calamari. Everything was delicious! You can tell the chefs to take their time with the sauces as both the salmon sauce and the diving sauce for the Calamari were so good. Calamari sauce has a kick to it Can not wait to eat again in the area here again"
