"This place was fantastic! We stayed 2 nights and did a fishing charter. The accommodations were cozy, clean and pet friendly . We went on a charter with Scott and he was incredible. He didn’t stop trying until we got on some walleye! I have to give it to him, he was persistent! . My dog was allowed to come fishing with us and he also had a great time. Scott’s boat was incredibly comfortable and he had hot coffee and cold beverages all day for us. He prepared a nice BBQ lunch and even cooked some for my dog! Scott was a great host, very knowledgeable and fun. Thank you for giving us a memorable experience!"

"The apricot and white chocolate cake with whipped cream was delicious. Very well made coffee, my husband had two! Cheese scone was okay. Very good views from the cafe over the waterfront and out to Malborough Sounds"

"Had a few drinks I would have stayed longer if I didn't live so far away. The gentleman behind the bar is super friendly and so welcoming to my partner and I. "Lovely vibe. Good music. Good choice of English Kiwi food. The place is very clean and seems to be quite popular. Prices are moderately. We came here for a pot of tea in the afternoon and then hot chocolate before boarding the Ferry to Wellongton."
